Education

After Graduation I attended American River Junior College for about a year. I then entered into the State Apprenticeship program for Carpenters which I completed in 1974.

Love Life

I was married in 1973 and have two beautiful daughters Jennifer 24 and Amber 22. I was divorced in 1976 and remained a single man for 15 years. In 1992 I met a wonderful lady, Laurie and we were married in August of 1993. We recently adopted two little boys (brothers) Robert 6 and Tyler (almost 5).

Employment

After graduation I was working as a carpenter and was soon promoted to field supervisor for a large Bay Area firm. I then went to work for Coker Ewing in Roseville as a superintendent for about 5 years. I then opened my own construction company in Granite Bay called Avanti Construction. You can see many of my custom homes through-out Granite Bay and El Dorado HIlls. I am currently the Project Manager for a local Development Company called Feather River Constuction and Development.

Activities

I have been playing golf since high school but of late has seemed to be almost impossible since our two boys have arrived. We purchased a couple of Jet Skiis and enjoy going to the lake every weekend in the summer. My wife and I enjoy traveling and weekend getaways. We also enjoy camping, hiking and playing board games.

I have been working on several inventions and have successfully patented one of them a golf accessory(golftwig.com)check it out.

I have coached soccer for the past two years and am anticipating tee ball this spring.

Accomplishments

My 4 beautiful children. Waiting for 15 years to meet my best friend and soul mate Laurie. I feel fortunate and very grateful for being able to work in the field that I love, building homes. I have a great relationship with my four sisters and mother and get together often. I have managed to maintain some very long term friendhips and am happy to call them friends.

Residence

I have lived in Northern California for all of my life and am currently living in Yuba City. We built a great family home last summer and look forward to building another in the very near future.
