Linder" <roger@rocemabra.com> Subject: Rio Linda Class of 1971 Reunion Info - Update #7This update is a little light on news for the month; not a lot of new activity has occurred. A few additional classmates (13) have been located, but the going has been pretty slow for the last couple of weeks. Even so, with the reunion over a year away, we're still well ahead of many classes, especially considering our 20 year gap in communication. The remaining names are listed below. Please take a look and see if there's anyone you think you might be able to locate. Connie Bienusa Fairchild has now joined the committee and is working the phones to find more lost classmates. It's a tough job, and I really appreciate the effort that she and Linda Best Courter have made. The May 2000 issue of the quarterly newsletter will be going out this month as well. If you don't get one by month's end, it's probably because we do not have a correct mailing address for you. Please let us know if you don't receive yours. Postage on this mailing will be a little over $60. Since we don't have any funds to work with, yet, expenses have all been privately handled by members of the committee. There's also the expense of previous mailings and long distance calling to consider. If you'd like to help out by making a down payment on your reunion package, we could really use the money. The next committee meeting will be on Friday, June 16th at 7 PM. The location is yet to be determined. I'll be sending out a reminder a few days prior with the location information. If you can't attend the meeting, but have information and ideas you think the committee should consider, please let us know. A number of classmates work in the downtown Sacramento area. If any of you are interested in getting together for an informal lunch during the week of May 22-26, please let me know. If there is interest, I'll see what can be arranged. For these, we've made some family contacts, but no direct contacts yet.
